Three little rules

The first puzzles take seconds. Further on, thorny branches block the way, leaves with holes must be skipped, and arrow leaves can only be left the way they point.

  1. A small board of watercolor leaves with the caterpillar at the start

    Eat every leaf

Drag the caterpillar from leaf to leaf. Each leaf once, none left behind.

  2. The caterpillar halfway along its path, passing a numbered flower

    Follow the flowers

Pass the numbered flowers in order, then finish on the twig.

  3. A butterfly whose wings carry the path that was drawn

    Earn your wings

The caterpillar spins a chrysalis, then opens wings drawn from your path.

Your trail becomes the wings

Every butterfly is drawn from the exact path you took, so each puzzle you solve leaves a butterfly of its own.

the path you drew…
The butterfly made from that path: the same trail, mirrored on both wings
…folded into wings

At your own pace

Short puzzles that fit into a spare minute, and never a clock ticking over your shoulder.

  • No timers, no move limits

Think as long as you like. Drag back along your trail to undo.

  • A hint when you're stuck

A hint lights up the next leaf to eat, so you're never stuck for long.

  • A small gift every day

Come back each day for a few extra hints, and something special on day seven.

  • Easy to start, clever later

New ideas arrive slowly: thorny branches, leaves with holes, arrow leaves.

  • Pencil and kalimba sounds

Soft leaf taps and a kalimba note for every flower. Gentle haptics on iPhone.

  • Butterflies to collect

Each solved puzzle leaves its butterfly on your levels page.
