For bugs, it helps a lot to include your device model, iOS or Android version, the level number, and what happened just before. A screenshot or screen recording is even better.
Questions
How do I play?
- Drag the caterpillar from leaf to leaf until it has eaten every one, each leaf only once.
- Pass the flowers in order: 1, 2, 3…
- End on the twig. The caterpillar spins a chrysalis and turns into a butterfly drawn from your path.
- Later on: thorny branches block the way between two leaves, leaves with holes are skipped, and an arrow leaf can only be left in the direction it points.
How do I undo a move or start over?
Drag the caterpillar back along its trail to undo, or use the undo button. The restart button clears the whole path.
I'm stuck. How do hints work?
Tap the light bulb and the game shows you the next leaf to eat. Hints use hint credits. When you're out, you can watch a short video to get a few more. The daily gift also adds hints.
What is the daily gift?
After you've solved a few puzzles, coming back on a new day gives you a small gift of hints. Come back several days in a row for a special gift on day seven. If you miss a day, the streak starts again.
Will I lose my progress if I delete the app?
Yes. Your progress is stored only on your device, so deleting the app removes it, and we can't restore it. Updating the app keeps your progress.
How do I turn off sounds, haptics or reminders?
Open the menu (the three pencil lines in the top-right corner of a puzzle) and go to Settings. You can also turn reminders off in your device's notification settings.
Why does the game ask to track my activity?
On iPhone, Apple asks whether the game may use your device's advertising identifier. It's used only to measure which of our ads bring new players, which helps keep the game free. Saying no doesn't change anything in the game. You can change it later in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. More in our Privacy Policy.
Is there an Android version?
It's coming. Leaf to Wing launches on iPhone first, and the Android version follows soon after.
How do I ask you to delete my data?
Email support@leaftowing.com. The game has no accounts, so most data is tied to random identifiers rather than to you. Our Privacy Policy explains what we can do and the quickest ways to reset those identifiers yourself.
